Reporting into the Senior Ecommerce Trading Manager, to support the overall management of UK onsite trading, onsite merchandising and production for Monsoon and Accessorize. This is a newly created role and we are hugely expending our ECommerce teams.

What will you do as a Junior Ecommerce Trading Manager?

  • Demonstrates views on current key trade activity that potentially impacts the customer and brands
  • Identifying commercial and seasonal product opportunities, whilst maintaining a strong brand representation online
  • Using data analysis to identify and prioritise major sales drivers and highlight deficiencies such as availability and sizing issues
  • Ensure product is on the site, in the right place in a timely manner
  • Price management – set up and management of online promotions, price adjustments and sale execution, good / better / best etc
  • Stock Availability – work with the Brand and Branch Merchandising teams to ensure stock to support product plan and customer demand
  • Delivering all product and category elements for new season launch, twice yearly
  • Product Plan new season and trading events
  • Managing Site Navigation by defining and setting site merchandising strategy, in conjunction with the Senior Trading Manager
  • Merchandising of product categories
  • Content Plan to support trading (homepages, social and email product selection)
  • Product – reporting and planning Brand and category performance,
  • Brand and product Performance and Analysis
  • Seasonal Planning/Product Planning/Onsite Navigation

What will you need to succeed as a Junior Ecommerce Trading Manager?

  • Strong knowledge and experience of relevant platforms (EPOS, Store Stock Systems etc) with working knowledge of E-commerce platforms, Supply Chain Systems (including ERP)
  • An eagerness for change, driving continuous improvement
  • Personable, diplomatic and approachable with an enthusiastic nature
  • Ability to communicate effectively across business and technical teams
  • Analytical and inquisitive, with excellent attention to detail but operates strategically with an understanding of the 'big picture'
  • Pro-active, and pragmatic attitude, someone who welcomes a challenge and seeks a solution
