This is an exciting opportunity for a Junior Project Manager to join our in-house Store Design and Development team. As a Junior Project Manager, you will manage the construction process of all UK concession projects, capitalized maintenance projects and store closures.  You will assist in cost tracking and raising of purchase orders for UK projects.

 

What will you do as a Junior Project Manager?

  • Manage, monitor and liaise with the contractors, consultants and internal teams to ensure an effective construction process for all UK concession projects and refurbishments from initial viability through to delivery to the Retail team ensuring timely completion within budget.
  • Liaise with the design team on the costing of feasibility layouts, and the production of the technical working drawings for all new concessions and refurbishments.
  • Manage and deliver the project process for UK store closures.
  • Work with Store Development team to track project spend across all UK projects
  • Maintain an accurate project programme with flexibility to condense timelines deemed business critical.
  • Ensure all building works are undertaken with the necessary consents, building controls and compliant with health and safety requirements.
  • Raise purchase orders and track payment for UK projects.
  • Monitor and review progress of build versus costs regularly during projects to ensure costs are contained within budgets.

 

What you will need to succeed in this role?

  • Project management experience
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
  • Sound knowledge of best practice within the construction industry
  • Strong communication skills and strong financial acumen
