More about the role
As a Retail Marketing Executive you will support the Retail Marketing Manager across our brands, Monsoon, Monsoon Children & Accessorize in creating the Marketing Strategy which drives clear customer communication across all channels. To deliver the local trade marketing strategy and support retail teams to deliver their required EBITDA performance.

Responsibilities will include;

  • To support the Retail Marketing Manager in delivering the Retail Marketing strategy for both the Monsoon & Accessorize brands.
  • Maintain seasonal / annual trade and marketing calendars
  • Delivery of a local marketing strategy to support retail teams delivering their EBITDA performance.
  • Building relationships with key local partners to support sales within stores (e.g. Local Press, Shopping Centre’s etc.)
  • Support the marketing team delivering in-store events alongside the marketing calendar.
  • Support in-store activity with our CRM programme and digital marketing when applicable.
  • Develop local marketing guidelines and tool kits for stores to utilise to support their retail performance.
  • Work alongside the VM teams to ensure seamless retail marketing execution.
  • Work alongside the VM teams to ensure stores have the right retail marketing POS to ensure a seamless execution.
  • Work with the retail operations team to ensure communication is clear for all local marketing activity.
  • Support the Retail Marketing Manager will new store openings, refits and store closures.
  • Support international teams with trade advice as required.

• Proven understanding and delivery of seasonal marketing plans
• Proven understanding and delivery of commercial trade promotions strategies
• Strong commercial awareness and proven financial analysis skills
• Strong communications skills
• Proven ability to influence across multi-functions
• Local Marketing experience
• Understanding of basic marketing law in relation to terms and conditions for Trade promotions
• Retail experience.
