This is a fantastic opportunity to manage a broad range of projects across a number of business areas including Brands, Supply Chain, Retail and Customer (Digital, E-commerce and Marketing). 

In this role, you will own the end-to-end project delivery using project management best practice and an understanding of Monsoon financial and change management processes to ensure successful delivery.  You will be responsible for scoping, estimating, planning, managing, and maintaining financial control and implementation of systems changes.  You will deliver changes through internal resource and 3rd party resource service providers, depending on needs of the project.


What will you do as a Project Manager?

  • Work with key stakeholders in preparation of business case to initiate project
  • Establishment of project scope sign-off mechanisms
  • Definition of appropriate governance structure
  • Working alone or alongside business analyst to carry out process review & requirement capture
  • Building project plan and cost estimate for project
  • Responsible for gaining budget sign-off against technology costs
  • Demonstrate understanding of the technology function’s architectural standards as they develop and ensure delivery adheres to these standards
  • Accountable for management and coordination of development and delivery of technology through internal and 3rd party project resource
  • Ensuring plan, risks and finances associated with project delivery are tracked as required and made visible for governance and portfolio management purposes
  • Accountable for stakeholder management including project updates
  • Definition of testing approach and delivery of test phases of the project through internal and 3rd party project resource
  • Coordination of training provision and delivery through business analyst as required
  • Management and communication of implementation plan
  • Responsible alongside service team for operational acceptance and handover of technology into support
  • Production of post implementation review as required
  • Understand and contribute to management of the technology capital budgeting process


  • Support the technology leadership team in recommending change prioritisation
  • Represent the technology team part of companywide project teams providing technology guidance and support
  • Positively represent the technology function alongside internal and external stakeholders as required
  • Create a culture of honesty, accountability and engagement within the function ensuring everyone is treated with respect
  • Effectively manage expectations of key stakeholders throughout the life cycle of change initiatives – from inception to delivery


What will you need to succeed as a Project Manager?

  • Proven IT Project Management experience across a broad range of projects
  • Experience of Customer (E-commerce, Marketing) related projects is desirable, though not essential
  • Experience of managing project budgets
  • Displays an eagerness for change and continuous improvement
  • Personable, diplomatic and approachable, with an enthusiastic and motivational nature and an overall passion for delivery excellence
  • Ability to communicate effectively across business and technical teams
  • Analytical and inquisitive, with excellent attention to detail - operates strategically with an understanding of the 'big picture'
  • Pro-active, and pragmatic attitude, someone who welcomes a challenge and seeks a solution
