We are looking for an International Business Manager to join us, reporting into the Head of Franchise. Our International Department is responsible for maximising sales and profit across both subsidiary, franchise and joint venture markets, through the development of brand and retail standards, and by providing commercial support based on detailed market knowledge. 

 

What will you do as International Business Manager?

  • Drive profitable sales for us and our partners ensuring longevity of the business
  • Own the relationship with the Franchisee developing trust and understanding
  • Market development strategy; brands, stores, refits/refurbishments
  • Ensure new store openings and refurbishments are completed as per budgeted timelines
  • Market positioning strategy (including pricing)
  • Protect the Brand and acting as a brand ambassador
  • Set and agree sales budgets, MD and terminal targets with partners
  • Drive trading; ensuring consistency in store standards and sharing and instilling commercial best practises
  • Review local competitive positioning and margin dynamics and recommend commercial price positioning as appropriate
  • In conjunction with Merchandising, recommend promotional activity in line with Trading performance
  • Agree and maintain seasonal trading calendars

 

What you will need to succeed as International Business Manager?

  • Proven experience of successfully managing multiple markets
  • Commercially and politically aware within your relevant markets
  • The ability to communicate effectively to implement the Company strategy whilst managing your partners remotely
  • Proven record of delivering exceptional customer service both personally and through a team
  • Evidence of successfully developing and motivating a management team to deliver the Company targets / KPIs
  • Strong communication and people skills
