This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Head of Business Development to drive the growth of the marketplaces and wholesale business across our three brands. 

Reporting to the Business Development Director, you will be responsible for the delivery of a consistent on-boarding model and operating process that will maximise business performance.  You will grow and optimise the pipeline for marketplaces and wholesale, supporting the development of additional routes to market as our business evolves.

What will you do as Head of Business Development?

  • Responsible for delivery of a consistent marketplace on-boarding model.
  • Responsible for capturing and agreeing the business operating process.
  • Responsible for developing, agreeing and supporting the implementation of the on-going operational model.
  • Responsible for the delivery of the marketplace pipeline.
  • Supporting the development of a business wholesale model.
  • Wholesale process definition both pre-season and in-season, including technical requirements.
  • Monitoring of processes and assumptions, against P&L.
  • Support on the development of additional routes to market
  • Effectively chair working group and function meetings, ensuring that relevant expertise is sought and aligned to the business strategy for the marketplaces and wholesale models.
  • Act as the champion for the channel.
  • Act as chair of the steering group when required.

  • Highly commercial with a good understanding of profit and loss and EBITDA
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent communicator and influencer
  • Good knowledge and understanding of ecommerce, marketplaces, wholesale and product lifecycles
  • Strong organisation and planning skills
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Ability to work at pace and under pressure
  • Flexible and pragmatic approach
  • Additional language skills (French, German) are desirable
  • Good understanding of technology operating systems within a retail environment.
