This is a great opportunity for a Studio Manager (Traffic Manager) to join our Creative Marketing team.  Reporting to the Head of Creative, this role is responsible for planning, managing and overseeing the Creative Studio workflow, key projects critical paths, artwork generation & production specifications, working with key internal business stakeholders (and external agencies if necessary) to deliver the information accurately to deadline.

You will manage and communicate the brand & visual assets effectively to each of the international territories. You will also oversee resource planning within the Creative Studio, ensuring that we are able to meet each deadline on-time, every time and using freelance and 3rd party suppliers as necessary to accommodate the flex in capacity.

What will you do as a Studio Manager?

  • Responsible for managing resource planning and the quality of output from the Studio team as a unit, comprising Designers & Artworkers, in a timely, efficient manner.
  • Ensuring all liaisons with other departments and the relevant status reports are completed and delivered in a comprehensive, accurate and timely fashion.
  • Ensuring all briefs are dispatched to the Studio based on individuals strengths and skills, creating a workflow structure, reviewing daily work schedules of the department, ensuring work is delivered on deadline, compiling & updating studio schedules regularly, keeping all relevant departments informed about project status, dispatching workload and resource management of freelance staff when required.
  • To be the ‘gate-keeper’ for the generic brand & seasonal assets, ensuring access & delivery to each key stakeholder is documented and only released when fully approved.

Some of the key tasks will include:

  • Managing and planning all work through the department.
  • Attending inter-departmental briefings.
  • Updating schedules/estimates as needed.
  • Releasing artwork to Production.
  • Participating in weekly departmental staff meetings.
  • Keeping stakeholders updated on the status of work.
  • Booking all creative review meetings, WIPs, Presentations, Pre-Prods etc.
  • Resourcing freelance requirements as and when required

What you will need to succeed in this role?

  • Previous experience within Marketing or comparable industry, either agency side or in-house.
  • Efficient verbal and written communication skills, flexibility and excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, whilst motivating a team with a variety of skill sets.
  • Must be able to manage and direct multiple projects, have meticulous attention to detail and possess problem-solving skills.
  • Expert at Office software with knowledge of studio software programmes.
  • Knowledge of JIRA workflow planning software (highly desirable)
  • Educated to degree level (desirable)
