Tax Manager

Ref: MON12252
Salary: Competitive
Department: Finance
Location: Notting Dale Village, London (W11)
Position type: Permanent
Hours / Duration: 37.5 hours per week

Our story began with one man and his vision; to bring vibrant, colourful, hand-crafted artisan clothes from faraway places to the markets of London. It is a journey that started on a hippy commune in Ibiza, 1970, and finished with an overland trip east, through Afghanistan and India. Now found in West London, we’re creating vibrant products, and sharing endless discovery.

We now have an exciting new opportunity within our Finance team. This role reports into the Head of Tax, and is primarily responsible for the tax compliance and reporting obligations of the Group. The role will also support the Head of Tax with business partnering, monitoring the governance structure for tax in the business and various other ongoing tax advisory projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant or tax advisor (ACCA/ACA/ATT/CIOT or equivalent) to join our Group Finance team. This role would be ideally suited to someone looking to work in a dynamic, fast-paced international business.

• Manage the cash tax forecasts and ensure all tax payments made in a timely manner.

• Assist with maintaining the tax governance framework, including identification of tax risks in daily operations, maintenance of a tax risk register and controls testing for SAO.
• Assist with implementing and maintaining transfer pricing policies and documentation across the group, including preparation of functional analysis, master and local files.
• Support the Head of Tax with various other matters as required, including but not limited to employment taxes, property taxes, HMRC engagement etc.
• Collaborate with the wider Finance team to enhance tax reporting processes, implement effective controls and introduce automation where possible.
• Provide cover for Head of Tax as and when required.
