We are now looking for a VM Manager to support the global VM strategy for the Accessorize brand by creating compelling and commercial displays and layouts to provide the customer with an enticing customer journey to drive sales performance.

What will you do as a VM Manager?

  • Supporting the Head Office specialists in the production of VM guidelines for UK & International: Prepare the Mock Shop to set monthly company standards for Brand Directors and Divisional Directors sign off. Considering the needs of the different space/density in branches. Provide effective documents to clearly communicate Visual Merchandising directives for UK and International markets
  • Issue weekly update comms in the VM/Trade focus for the Global business
  • Plan and organise workload: Prioritise workload in line with company requirements, effectively organising and implementing plans. Critical path and roadmap creation. Continually measuring and reviewing progress.
  • Proactively seek to innovate VM through new techniques / POS / display equipment.
  • Budget Management: Forecast for yearly and half yearly budget requirements with business case reasoning for spend. Recording and monitoring spend across all VM areas.
  • Management: Holding regular 121’s with immediate team to ensure tasks are completed on time and in line with the critical path. Communicating with key stakeholders via fortnightly VM Strategy meetings. Cascading relevant information to VM Coaches and Retail teams.
  • Administration: Ensure all company paperwork/reporting is administered and delivered.
  • Business Awareness:  Is conversant with the Business strategy and proactively seeks innovative ways to improve departmental efficiency in line with Company goals.
  • Branch visits to be planned in regularly – UK and INT
  • New store openings: working with Store Design on shop plans and equipment call offs.
  • Equipment design and development: Maximise sales potential and support with the launch of new company initiatives.

What will you need to succeed as a VM Manager: 

  • Senior VM experience: You will have a sound experience, knowledge and keen interest in Visual Merchandising.
  • Creativity: You will have Creative flair for developing commercial and effective new visual direction, adding Theatre to stores and aligning with the online business.
  • Competent with all Microsoft Office packages including In-design and Photoshop
  • Excellent communication & influencing skills: You will have the ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders/Directors, across internal departments and international markets
  • Numerate and strong attention to detail
  • Proactive and able to plan own workload.
  • Management Experience essential.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in head office
