International Partnership Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for an International Partnerships Manager working in our International Team to achieve sales and profit contribution targets through the close management of relationships with our franchise partners across the world.

What will you do as International Partnerships Manager?
• Drive profitable sales for the Company and our franchise partners. 
• You will be the main contact between the franchisees and the Company.
• Own the relationship with the franchisees ensuring positive working partnerships. 
• Act as a Brand Ambassador, protecting the brand identity across all markets.
• Support and implement the market development strategy: brands, stores (turnover, sizes & locations), refits/refurbishments, to agreed time lines and within budget.
• Analyse franchise trading performance, identifying risks, and working with franchisees to find solutions.
• Understand market macro-economic factors and the local retail environment across all franchise markets.
• Review and agree market positioning strategy.
• Drive trading mentality; ensuring consistency in store standards and sharing and instilling commercial best practises.
• Agree and manage the maintenance of seasonal trading calendars.
• Interpret the VM standard guidelines and support to ensure consistent local implementation. 
• Interpretation of and take appropriate actions from relevant sales and financial reporting, working with the partners.
• Identifying product opportunities and promotions and follow through with feedback to the Brands.
• Gather feedback on competitor activity (ranging, marketing, promotions, development)
• Collaborate effectively with relevant head office departments, e.g. finance, marketing, and the Distribution Centre to support franchise partners to drive sales performance in their markets.
• Influence partners to observe company policies and guidelines as appropriate to maintain a consistent brand approach.


What will you need to succeed as an International Partnerships Manager? 
• The ability to communicate effectively with partners to support them to implement the  Company strategy through their businesses.
• Good relationship building and communication skills are essential.
• Commercial awareness and understanding of local trading differences.
• Resilient personality with a desire to keep striving for results.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Identify ways of creating improvements.
• Good understanding of interpretation of financial data
• Experience of successfully managing international markets
