We are now looking for an Assistant Designer to work alongside our design team to ensure we are creating an innovative and holistic product offer for our customer. Working alongside the accessories designer, you will help to design and develop a multi category range from slippers to soft accessories. 

What will you do as an Assistant Designer? 

  • Working with the accessories designer on the seasonal range; continue to innovate and develop premium forward-thinking product that consistently performs well and looks amazing.
  • Assisting the accessories designer with researching, designing, and building balanced exciting and new collections. Encompassing seasonal trends, theme, colour, print and brands handwriting to answer the business strategies and targets.
  • Support the design team with seasonal mood boards, colour palettes, key trend boards in line with seasonal theme including catwalk and industry reports
  • Work together with the team to develop and source fabrics and trims relevant for the end use of the selected ranges, adding newness and improving the existing product offer.
  • Support print team to translate the seasonal graphic vision into all over and/or placement prints as required.
  • Support the creation and delivery of all tech packs for your products. Ensuing the tech packs are up to date and correct from 1st proto all the way through to sign off.
  • Participate in all relevant design meetings 
  • Support with admin and organisation across the accessories department.
  • Responsible for organising, maintaining, and storing the design boards.
  • Responsible for taking and sharing the notes for all design and sign off meetings.  
  • Take on ad hoc projects or other responsibilities as appropriate 

What you will need to succeed as an Accessories Designer? 

  • Min 1-2 years experience working across multi product accessories
  • Must have experience with accessories
  • Experience in using adobe suite
  • A strong team player who is great with collaboration and able to work within tight deadlines
  • Excellent organizational skills
