We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to join our Store Design and Development team. This role will manage the end-to-end construction process of UK and International projects, capitalise maintenance projects and store closures, and be responsible for cost tracking and purchase orders for all projects.
What will you do as our Senior Project Manager?
- Independently manage, monitor and liase with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure an effective construction process for UK and International Store openings and refurbishments.
- Create and manage call off schedules for projects and assist international partners with fixture delivery arrangements where needed.
- Work closely with the Store Design and Development team on the costing of feasibility layouts and production of the technical working drawings for projects.
- Manage and deliver all projects for new stores, refits, and closures in the UK and International.
- Track Project spend across all projects closely and accurately, working closely with the finance team on spend tracking and forecasting.
- Maintain an accurate project programme, creating a global project tracking and manage and maintain workflow both internally and externally.
- Work closely with the Procurement Manager to ensure timely arrival of fixtures and assist with equipment forecasting and management.
- Ensure all building works are undertaken with the necessary consents and building controls and are compliant to health and safety requirements.
- Raise purchase orders and track payment for all projects.
- Monitor and review progress of build vs costs regularly and ensure costs are contained within budgets.
- Manage maintain and circulate project update documents.
What will you need to succeed as our Senior Project Manager?
- 5+ years Retail Project Management experience
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
- Excellent knowledge of best practice within the construction industry and current regulations.
- Strong communication and financial acumen skills
- Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Project and Office programmes.
- Ability to focus on detail and accuracy.
- Flexibility to travel in the UK and Internationally
