Accessorize is on an exciting journey, with a new leadership team and ambitious plans for growth. With the product & brand becoming more closely aligned the shape of the marketing is going to significantly change. Working closely with the Marketing Director we want to build a team with social at its core. This is an amazing opportunity to grow a team from scratch and play a pivotal role in changing the way that our brand expresses itself in social, PR and beyond.
We are looking for someone super creative but also analytical. Someone with vision who enjoys leading a team and also supporting their growth. Someone who is culturally progressive and naturally collaborative.
What will you do as our Senior Social Media and PR Manager?
- Work closely with the Marketing Director to understand the new Brand Strategy and come up with a look & feel, a vision to bring the brand to life across our social spaces
- Develop a social strategy for the brand
- Plan & execute a social calendar around brand and product launches, plus key cultural moments and events.
- Manage the planning, publishing and optimisation of content across the brand’s social channels
- Educate internal teams around best practice social media strategies, commercial tactics, new formats and content.
- Communicate plans to internal marketing and creative stakeholders.
- Build a relationship with our followers, ensuring you respond to key comments, representing the brand TOV.
- Generate ideas and requirements for social content in response to campaign briefs, working closely with creative and marketing stakeholders.
- Work with creative teams to ensure content is shot for our social platforms and adheres to best practice, plus originating social first activity.
- Identify influencers to work with and contract them to produce unique content in line with our brand strategy.
- Manage brand PR activity alongside PR Executive, overseeing database building, call ins and gifting initiatives.
- Oversee weekly calendar of press release send outs to all press contacts to be in line with the trade and marketing calendars.
- Management of all PR events, including regional store events, alongside the PR Executive.
- Monitor and analyse PR results.
- Deliver weekly and monthly campaign reporting across organic activity including competitor benchmarking where available.
- Conduct social listening and monitoring to understand brand sentiment and performance to inform future thinking.
- Communicate and distribute performance reports to key stakeholders.
- Manage Social Media Assistant and PR Executive.
We'd love to hear from you if you have the following:
- Experience leading a social media team particularly for Facebook, Tik Tok, Instagram, Pinterest platforms - preferably within a fashion retail environment.
- Experience of setting a social & PR strategy based on insight & analysis
- Experience increasing community and engagement through social media
- Experience of overseeing day to day PR activity.
- A background of working with influencers in a credible way.
- Skills within content creation, plus contacts for external creatives we can collaborate with
- A strong design eye, able to spot trends, naturally creative, curious and culturally plugged in with a strong understanding of how our brand can become more relevant for our customer.
