We are looking for an Ecommerce Trading Assistant to join our team who will help to deliver a best-in-class shopping experience for our websites and ultimately drive profitable growth in this channel.
What will you do as an Ecommerce Trading Assistant?
- Ensure data integrity within the product catalogue, becoming a super user for our PIM (Product Information Management) system
- Ensuring all products are live on the website in a timely manner through management of the product enrichment process, making sure all data is optimised
- Managing category and search pages, including filtering – ensuring the customer journey is as seamless as possible and all products are easily shoppable
- Utilizing our internal Search platform Algolia to ensure customers searches are optimised
- Producing detailed competitor analysis on a bi-weekly basis
- Maintaining the website Navigation & Taxonomy, liaising with our SEO agency to ensure actions are always SEO optimised
- Daily site checks to a high standard
- Execution & testing of promotions and price changes
- Weekly reporting at category & product level against key website KPIs including demand, conversion & AOV
- Running ad hoc reports & using data analysis to identify and prioritise sales & conversion drivers, whilst also highlighting barriers to conversion such as availability and sizing issues
- Supporting the Ecommerce Trading Manager with executing on-site updates to support a reactive Trading plan
- Creating weekly site briefs, ensuring creative and content is updated and in line with Trading strategy
- Site and email sign offs, checking copy, content & URLs are correct and customer-facing
- Coordinate product selection for trends & edit pages.
- Contribute ideas to support commercial and seasonal opportunities.
What you will need to succeed as an Ecommerce Trading Assistant?
- Strong numeric and Excel skills
- Systems experience – Salesforce Commerce Cloud & Google Analytics preferred but not essential
- Confident and articulate communicator, able to build strong & effective relationships
- Ability to analyse and interpret data, easily identifying issues and trends
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic, can plan and prioritise effectively
- Detail orientated
- Active team player who drives own development
- Time management with the ability to multitask
- A passion for Ecommerce, Fashion & Retail is desirable
