We are on a journey to bring Monsoon to a wider audience. Monsoon Bazaar is an online curation of beautiful and sustainable products. The Brands and Wholesale executive will report directly into The Head of Brands & Wholesale. This role will play a big part in supporting the growth of the exciting new concept for Monsoon and involve working across multiple functions across the business as part of the new ‘start up’. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of Bazaar.

What will you do as a Brands & Wholesale Executive? 

  • Supports the sourcing of new brands and product selection 
  • Attending trade shows & supplier meetings to source new brands and view seasonal ranges 
  • Manages onboarding process of new brands – contract exchange and delivery requirements 
  • Manages price negotiation and PO management 
  • Manages deliveries and intake of stock & identify trading opportunities and risks 
  • Manage end- to -end launch process from brand to online – collating product information, images, ensuring copy completed 
  • Works with Online Trade & CRM teams to ensure timely launch of product, review weekly performance, suggesting products for weekly emails 
  • Works with social & marketing teams to highlight up and coming product and brand launches suitable for digital channels 
  • Manages samples process from suppliers needed for internal shoots & press events 
  • Working closely across multiple functions in the business and externals – Supplier, Online Trading Team, Studio & Image Team, Marketing and Finance 

What will you need as a Brands & Wholesale Executive? 

  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Good excel and power point skills 
  • Experience in buying or merchandising or wholesale, experience in omni channel preferable 
  • Understanding of online sales metrics and KPIs 
  • Problem solving skills 
  • Highly motived and hardworking with the desire to work in a start-up environment 
  • Knowledge of new brands and the latest trends
