We are now looking for a Junior VM Manager to cover a 12 month fixed term contract to support the Senior VM Manager and support the global VM strategy for the Accessorize brand by creating compelling and commercial displays and layouts to provide the customer with an enticing customer journey to drive sales performance.

The Junior VM Manager supports the Senior VM Manager define and communicate the global VM strategy for Accessorize, by creating compelling and commercial displays and layouts to provide the customer with an enticing customer journey to drive sales performance.

What will you do as a Junior VM Manager

  • Communicating and support the defining of the Visual Merchandising strategy for the Accessorize brand.
  • Communicating to retail teams and supporting the defining of the window strategy working closely with the Creative Design team.
  • Work with the Buying and Merchandising teams to ensure all relevant information is provided, the product strategy is understood and timing of product drops to allow effective layout planning is obtained
  • Work with the merchandising teams to understand commercial allocation of space mix.
  • Create Visual Guidelines  for UK and International stores delivering both commercial and inspirational layouts and displays.
  • Listening and acting appropriately to customer feedback, testing new ideas and concepts  to improve and develop knowledge and understanding of the customer and their behaviour.
  • Seasonal set up of the mock shop to approve the visual layouts for the season.
  • Set up product displays for windows in the mock shop and utilise this for window communication.
  • Deliver the model store  in the UK alongside the retail teams.
  • Work alongside Store Design and Development in rolling out New Store Concepts ensuring that inspiring VM and Displays are delivered.
  • Produce the VM focus sent weekly to retail teams.
  • Communicate  sale layouts working alongside Marketing team on messaging.
  • Ensure store visits are completed and feedback rolled into visual layouts
  • Competitive review and keep up to date with the latest VM innovation
  • Create communication to support any store concessions.
  • Support and deliver any ad-hoc VM trials and innovations.

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in a visual role producing visual guidance
  • Comptent with Adobe Creative Suite – particurlay InDesign and Photoshop
  • Creative flair for developing inspirational displays
  • Pace, energy and Passion
  • Great communicator
  • Customer, creative and brand focused
  • A problem navigator, solutions driven and determined to "get things done“
  • Ability to  inspire internal teams as required to meet shared goals.
