We are looking for an International Ecommerce Manager to join our team and drive the Monsoon International Digital strategies to achieve aggressive growth targets, help deliver a best-in-class shopping experience on our international sites and expedite delivery of this big opportunity for our business. This role will be mainly focused on the US market with the aspiration for it to become our “2nd home” market after the UK.

What will you do as the International Ecommerce Manager?

  • Reporting into the Head of Trade, drive our international own web strategy for predominantly key strategic market the US, but also other key international markets: Germany, France, Australia, the Middle East, etc

Drive end-to-end delivery across:

  • Reach & Engagement: work with the Digital Marketing team and external agencies to deliver strategy across the funnel to drive brand awareness and engagement
  • Site experience: work with technical teams and Digital Product, Development & IT teams to ensure optimal site experience for US and International customers MVT/AB testing for optimal UX and insight
  • Trade: deliver calendar of localised trade events in US and other key markets, be reactive to performance with ideas to boost trade, test optimal free shipping thresholds, and be able to analyse and evaluate the results, localise content, etc
  • Conversion: work with technical teams & external partners on functionality improvements, local payment methods, competitive shipping options; work with Brand teams to ensure optimal local product selection, onsite merchandising
  • After sale experience: work with Logistics teams on fast shipping, local fulfilment considerations (e.g. cash on delivery, local fulfilment etc) and ease of returns
  • Retention & Repeat: work with CRM team on aligning channels with trade activity, re-marketing/re-targeting, personalisation, and customer retention strategy including email and direct mail
  • Able to produce regular trade reporting against key digital KPIs including traffic, conversion, AOV, Demand, etc, to identify what’s working and what’s not for ongoing optimisation
  • Comfortable forecasting Web KPIs for Sales and Margin to support International digital budgeting
  • Manage relationships with multiple International digital agencies to ensure all are delivering against key performance indicators (fulfilment & technical, SEO, PPC, Affiliates, Data & Analytics)
  • Work with the wider Ecommerce Trade & Marketing teams to ensure SEO best practice
  • Own the US and International trade calendars for trade and marketing initiatives 

What will you need to succeed as International Ecommerce Manager? 

  • Strong US Ecommerce expertise essential
  • Salesforce Commerce Cloud & Google Analytics experience preferred but not essential
  • Good knowledge of digital marketing (PPC, Paid Social, Affiliates, and Programmatic advertising)
  • Strong numeric and Excel skills; ability to analyse and interpret data, easily identifying issues and trends; details orientated
  • Confident and articulate communicator, able to build strong & effective relationships
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic, can plan and prioritise effectively; great time-management skills with the ability to multitask
  • Active team player; people management experience
  • A passion for Ecommerce; previous Fashion experience preferred
