We have an exciting opportunity for a Branch Planner to join our Space Planning team. The role supports our Accessorize brand. Reporting to the Head of Global Channel Merchandising, you will analyse brand and category performance at store level to understand the type of product selling in the different types of stores. You will create store sales plans based on this knowledge and will be responsible for grading stores to ensure the correct stock package is allocated, which will drive the maximum sales performance from each store.

What will you do as a Branch Planner?

  • Analysing both store performance at brand level and category level performance; identifying under and over performing areas; pulling together proposals of the space to be flexed at category level; & creating an ideal store template
  • Working with the Merchandising Director and line manager to review sales and space plans at category level
  • Creating accurate gradings for each season, in line with business strategies and agreed sales and space plans
  • Monitoring store performance against sales plans, highlighting under and over performing areas, making suggestions on how their stock package can be altered to improve performance
  • Conducting in-season grade changes to maximise sales
  • Working with the Product Merchandisers to fully understand business strategies and ensure plans reflect category plans
  • Reviewing new stores plans and working with VM on layouts where required
  • Positive contribution towards working as a team
  • Effective communication, influencing skills and relationship building at all levels of the business
  • Driving individual performance and contribution towards department results
  • Ownership of own career development

What you will need to succeed as a Branch Planner?

  • You will have a proven track record of working in a planning environment, ideally with knowledge of Branch Merchandising. 
  • Proven experience of store sales & space planning.
  • You will be strategic in your approach and will possess excellent communication skills and an ability to influence and gain commitment of head office management at all levels. 
  • You will thrive in a dynamic environment and will have a flexible and adaptable approach to your work whilst being a team player.
