We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, enthusiastic, and motivated Paid Social Manager to join the Monsoon Digital team. The main purpose of this role is to support the Head of Digital Marketing in the development of the Paid Social Media channels (but not limited to) Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and TikTok. Understanding how each channel can be optimised to achieve web demand and traffic targets for the business.

What will you do as a Paid Social Manager?

  • Manage the UK and ROW Paid Social strategy for Monsoon, driving quality traffic to the Monsoon website whilst optimising MOAS, ROAS, and the cost of acquisition.
  • Build and develop a paid social media engine to ensure not only profitability of all paid social initiatives but also an effective social funnel strategy.
  • Work on optimising Monsoon’s always-on paid social prospecting activity through agency partners.
  • Develop and own a test and learn roadmap to scale paid social channels as well as lower the costs of traffic and acquisition.
  • Effective budget management optimising MOAS and ROAS.
  • Fully manage paid social reporting, forecasting, and planning
  • Take ownership of the campaign/audience/ad builds if required.
  • Work closely with the Brand Marketing and Creative teams to define overarching strategy as well as evolve channel level thinking.
  • Ensure channel and campaign learnings are applied to future content propositions.
  • Support the Accessorize Digital team by sharing key campaign and channel learnings and provide strategy and guidance where/if needed.
  • Find new avenues for paid social growth, including platforms, audiences, creative approach, and bidding strategies.
  • Work closely with Meta and other advertising platforms to ensure Monsoon’s access to latest platform innovations and developments, such as the testing of beta features.
  • Manage paid social attribution projects and liaise with third parties for the adoption of more accurate attribution.
  • Liaise with digital marketing agencies on all promos / campaigns, and briefing advertising materials for paid social to internal design teams.
  • Management of weekly and monthly campaign schedules with the UK and ROW performance marketing agencies.
  • Work with the CRM team to regularly refresh digital marketing audiences.
  • Liaising closely with Trade and Creative teams on product selection for paid social advertising.
  • Be the Social champion at Monsoon and guide the wider team on the strategic importance of the channel as part of the customer journey.
  • Sharing weekly reporting on competitor activity with regards to paid social.
  • Leveraging insight provided by insights and analytics that will improve channel and supplier performance.
  • Actively explore and feedback on new commercial opportunities.
  • Stay abreast of current and upcoming technology product capabilities.

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • A strong interest in fashion and retail. Previous industry experience is a must.
  • Passionate about marketing and e-commerce.
  • Excellent knowledge of Paid Social Media marketing.
  • Proficient in MS applications, particularly Microsoft excel.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills at all levels.
  • A proactive team player, willing to use own initiative and step outside of your job description if necessary.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to tight deadlines.
  • A creative approach to problem solving.
  • Highly detail oriented, and able to successfully manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience in using Google Analytics.
  • Degree in Business, Marketing or relevant subject would be desirable.
  • 3+ years working in a similar role in digital marketing would be desirable.
