We are looking to develop data led insights and ensure all our marketing activities and decisions taken are data driven. This will require a range of analysis, reporting and storytelling to inform key decisions relating to our marketing activities.

Beyond this, you will also manage GTM, implementing and changing tags as necessary.  You will work with the necessary teams to ensure correct tagging and tracking is in place for all activity, especially GA. We have GA attribution and are looking for someone with experience of managing this to help give actionable insights.

What you will do as our Digital Analyst?

  • Track, report and analyse the performance of all digital marketing activity, especially Paid Social as we build out our always-on prospecting social strategy (Facebook, Instagram, etc)
  • Work closely with the Monsoon and Accessorize Digital Marketing teams to optimise performance and improve ROAS/MOAS
  • Work closely with the Monsoon and Accessorize Digital Marketing teams and agency partners around annual budgeting and forecasting
  • Analyse external and internal customer data using SQL/database queries, Excel models, web analytics tools, statistical analysis tools, and campaign management software tools
  • Utilise current tools – Excel and Data Studio – as well as an ability to use reporting tools such as MicroStrategy as necessary
  • Manage and implement tags into GTM, ideally with experience of managing and maintaining a tag management system previously
  • Work with the Digital Marketing team to run A/B tests, communicate results and provide recommendations
  • Manage marketing attribution and conversions API, ideally with experience of GA and/or Facebook
  • Work closely with Digital Marketing teams to create and share understanding of qualitative and quantitative financial models
  • Derive data-driven insights from available datasets to inform decision-making and marketing strategies
  • Identify areas for improvement and cost-saving through an analytical approach across owned, earned, and paid channels
  • Deliver and set up automated reporting for internal and external use
  • You will report into the Digital Director. Although your role will be overwhelmingly to support Digital Marketing, you will also support the CRM team with customer and direct mail data pulling & analysis, as well as other teams within Digital on an ad hoc basis (e.g. Trade)

What will you need to be able to demonstrate to be successful in this role?

  • Expert in writing complex SQL to interrogate large data sets
  • Proficient in marketing research and statistical analysis
  • Excellent analytical skills and a high degree of business acumen
  • Excellent communicator, can explain complex problems simply
  • Expert in GA, with a GAIQ certification
  • Experience in tagging and managing GTM
  • Experience with excel and Google Data Studio using SQL/Python
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Online Retail/Ecommerce

If you have the following this would be a huge bonus:

  • Experience setting up attribution in GA and/or Facebook
  • Able to work with MicroStrategy, Tableau, Power Bi /any other reporting tools
