We are looking for a Jewellery Designer to work within our wider design team, focusing on developing our Accessorize jewellery ranges ranging from concept stage to production, working across all jewellery category’s within Accessorize.

Our Design team are at the core of our business, creating the mood, colour palette, prints and key shapes of our collection each season that offer our Accessorize customer a point of difference. Working closely with the buying team to develop new product ranges seasonally, our designers ensure the balance of commerciality and fashion is met – the team keep abreast of the key global trends and anticipate those which are relevant to our Accessorize customer.

You will be…

  • Researching and designing jewellery for all jewellery ranges within Accessorize, collection, Z & Sterling
  • Using your extensive knowledge of jewellery materials and constructions to incorporate into your designs
  • Be up to date within the fashion industry trends to offer a fresh perspective within our designs
  • Design jewellery ranges leveraging expertise in colour combinations and trend, whilst maintaining customer centricity
  • Prepare technical packs for suppliers whilst pushing the boundaries in material composition
  • Working into planning of macro trend for the new season
  • Work collaboratively with the buying team to deliver amazing ranges for our customer
  • Bring a high level of creativity, attention to detail and efficiency while working under tight deadlines and on multiple collections simultaneously
  • Reacting to sales information you will be responsible for designing commercially relevant fashion-forward jewellery, updating best sellers and ensuring newness at all times
  • Sending out trend packs, design direction and designs to suppliers in line with the critical path
  • Proactive in identifying departmental design needs and helping to drive newness
  • You will have a strong ability to identify key jewellery trends and big deals for the season
  • You’ll draw influences from a wide range of sources – from Instagram micro trends through to seasonal global trends and catwalks
  • You should be organised and focused, adhering to the critical path to meet deadlines, ensuring product is developed within the relevant timeframe

We’d love to meet, someone with…

  • Computer Skills: Photoshop, Illustator , CAD
  • 3+ years of design experience
  • Ability to work autonomously with strong attention to detail
  • Previous experience in designing for an aspirational brand or a similar High Street Retailer
  • Previous experience working across multi jewellery categories
  • Strong commercial handwriting and understanding of the Accessorize customer
  • Fashion forward-thinking and directional trend eye
  • Brilliant time management and resilience
  • Ability to communicate confidently, effectively and appropriately with colleagues, suppliers, wider team & senior management
