We’re excited to be looking for a Assistant Channel Merchandiser to join our Monsoon Merchandising team. You will support the efficient running of the channel merchandising function. 

What you will do as our Assistant Channel Merchandiser ? 

  • Communicates regularly with concession’s partners, to influence trade and look for sales growth opportunities. Attends regular meetings to discuss performance
  • Using data analysis to identify and prioritise major sales drivers and highlight deficiencies such as best sellers, availability and option count.
  • Stock Availability – work with the merchandising team to ensure correct stock is allocated to support the product plans and customer demand
  • Delivering all product elements/enrichment data for new season launch and subsequent monthly inputs in accordance with the critical pat, highlighting any issues that will delay product launch.
  • Liaise with studio team to ensure all images are in the correct format and shared with the concession partner ahead of product launch
  • Ensures all concession reporting is accurately maintained (using excel and MS), produced and circulated on a weekly basis.
  • Reviewing concessions websites and working with concession partner to ensure products displayed in best ways/ categories etc, highlighting any products that are not live on site.
  • Co-ordinate with DC to release any held stock, investigate any order issues and organise returns
  • Regularly provide intake forecasts for concession partner
  • Liaise with concession partner and buying/merchandising/marketing teams to provide samples and images to support marketing campaigns.
  • Ensures that markdowns and promotions are agreed and correctly applied on concession websites
  • Assistants Senior Channel Merchandisers with ad-hoc tasks for UK/International stores
  • Manages the workload of level 1 Channel Merchandising Assistant

What you will need to succeed as our Assistant Channel Merchandiser?

  • Proven merchandising experience (minimum 1-2 years)
  • High levels of numeracy and commercial drive to identify emerging opportunities
  • Strong understanding of excel
  • Excellent problem solver and decision maker – always focusing on solutions
  • Ability to prioritise own workload and work under own initiative
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Strong planning and organisational skills, and the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Proven Time management skills
  • Experience of working cross functionally
  • Proactive, can do attitude
  • Self-motivated & enthusiastic
  • Ability to deliver to tight timescales and work under pressure
