Our story began with one man and his vision; to bring vibrant, colourful, hand-crafted artisan clothes from faraway places to the markets of London. It is a journey that started on a hippy commune in Ibiza, 1970, and finished with an overland trip east, through Afghanistan and India. Now found in West London, we’re creating vibrant products, and sharing endless discovery.

We’re looking for a Junior Photographer to support the senior photographer through delivery photography of garments and products including models, and still life shoots which supports the commercial and creative vision of the Monsoon and Accessorize Brands and ultimately works to enhance conversion.

What will you do as a Junior Photographer?

  • Supporting the Senior Photographer in the set up, direction and shoot of Monsoon, Accessorize and Monsoon Kids products
  • Taking the appropriate lead on shoots when directed by the senior Photographer
  • Ensuring all products are lit correctly, efficiently and creatively, in accordance with our company guidelines
  • Produce high quality and consistently beautiful images, ensuring they are correctly exposed and colour consistent
  • Prepare sets, checking that all equipment is fully functional, setting up appropriate lighting and keeping accurate daily shot records
  • Responsible for care and upkeep of the studio, equipment, props and supplies
  • Crop and process all images, maintaining file size specification
  • Perform quality assurance on all images
  • Meet strict daily and weekly deadlines
  • Uploading/downloading images on and off FTP site
  • Adhering to tight deadlines.

What you will need to succeed as a Junior Photographer?

  • Previous experience working within a digital photographic studio as a Junior Photographer or Photographers assistant.
  • Previous commercial photographic experience
  • A meticulous eye for detail
  • Strong photography and lighting skills
  • Strong understanding of colour correction
  • Good working knowledge of using Capture One, Canon and Photoshop, is essential.
  • Good communication skills
  • Self-motivated, positive and hard working
  • Ability to work within a team, excelling under pressure with a flexible attitude
  • Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and motivate others to achieve within the required timeframe
