We are now looking for a Social Media Manager to join our Marketing team. This role will focus on delivering the social media strategy ensuring brand identity, DNA, key strategic customer messages and social first content are communicated to deliver a unique and relevant brand presence across all social channels, optimizing the channels and driving customer engagement.

This role will also liaise with our PR agency to guide and select our Brand Ambassadors and influencers, ensure that our PR value is optimized to increase brand awareness.

What will you do as a Social Media Manager?

  • Oversee the day to day running of all Monsoon social media platforms and develop engaging content to reach target audiences and support brand storytelling
  • Coordinate the Social Marketing calendar and communicate regularly with the digital marketing team to ensure synergy across organic and paid
  • Communicate the brand identity consistently across all social media channels as well as the brand DNA and key strategic customer messages and stories to deliver a unique and relevant social brand presence – across Brand / Influencer content and UGC content.
  • Write, plan and schedule all posts, ensuring posts are optimized per channel and based on insights E.g. optimal posting times, frequency of posting, channel KPIs etc.
  • Work closely with the trade teams to support trade driving decisions, e.g best sellers/new products/promotions, to produce reactive content and drive sales
  • Co-ordinate all product, campaign and influencer imagery and understand product details while managing stock to ensure posts are informative and customers can purchase at a click
  • Be the main day to day liaison with the PR agency to ensure that the agency has all relevant samples and information necessary to optimize PR coverage
  • Support the Head of Marketing and VM to ensure that the PR agency are involved closely with key product meetings and marketing strategies that allow them to understand the ranges and the story behind those ranges.
  • Drive the generation of influencer content and support PR Agency with all admin surrounding this e.g. product samples and gifting, contracts, monthly retainers etc.
  • Work with the Head of Marketing and VM to support in the delivery of the wider social media strategy and the KPI’s across all social media channels
  • Work closely with the Head of Creative and Creative team on delivering the Brand creatives cohesively across social channels. Create strong briefs for the creative team to ensure impactful visual social assets are produced to support the successful performance of posts and new initiatives are executed to help grow fan base across all channels
  • Support the Head of Marketing and VM , working with the PR agency in developing key PR initiatives each season
  • Conduct regular competitor analysis and monitor social networks to stay ahead of the curve, sharing findings with the wider teams and keep up to date on emerging social media trends and innovation
  • Deliver weekly/monthly reports for all social media channels performance and ensure posts are analysed and reported on to inform future marketing plans and ensure objectives are always optimized.
  • Work closely with the CRM team to support and execute seasonal paid plans
  • Where applicable attend internal events / external events to create live content
  • Be responsible for budget management
  • Keep up to date on emerging social media trends and innovation
  • Assist with PR events when needed.

What you will need to succeed as a Social Media Manager?

  • Experience in working in a role that is responsible for social media, Influencer negotiation, and PR.
  • Experience in Influencer Marketing
  • A strong understanding of social media channels and landscape
  • You will have creative, brand and digital brand marketing experience
  • Having pace, energy, confidence and passion will be key in this role.
