As an E-commerce Trading Assistant, you will work as part of the Online Trading team who are responsible for providing an effective online presence, ensuring we achieve multi-channel customer engagement.  You will provide our customers with an online shopping experience that represents and delivers long-term loyalty to the Brand, to ensure we deliver profit growth and brand strength globally. 

What will you do as an E-commerce Trading Assistant?

  • Ensure data integrity within the product catalogue, becoming a super user for our PIM system
  • Managing all products customer facing data points, maintaining attribution and enrichment. 
  • Full ownership of all category and search pages, including filtering - optimising products using detailed and logical ranking rules across channels/devices.
  • Managing and maintaining Site Navigation
  • Maintenance of website taxonomy, URL structure & meta-data rules
  • Daily site checks to a high standard
  • Execution of promotions and price changes
  • Weekly reporting at category & product level against key website KPIs including demand, conversion, orders & AOV
  • Running ad hoc reports & using data analysis to identify and priorities major sales & conversion drivers, whilst also highlighting deficiencies such as availability and sizing issues
  • Supporting the Ecommerce manager with planning & executing our A/B testing roadmap
  • Lead product selection for trends & edit pages
  • Contribute ideas to support commercial and seasonal opportunities

What you will need to succeed as an E-commerce Trading Assistant?

  • A passion for Digital channels
  • Excellent numerical and Excel skills
  • Systems experience – Salesforce Commerce Cloud & Google Analytics preferred but not essential
  • Confident and articulate communicator, able to build strong effective relationships
  • Ability to analyse and interpret data, easily identifying issues and trends
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic, can plan and prioritise effectively
  • Detail orientated
  • Effective problem solver and decision maker
  • Active team player who drives own development
