We are excited to be recruiting for a Store Design and Development Manager within our Store Design and Development department. In this role, you will manage, develop and deliver creative and commercially effective store designs whilst ensuring design standards, details and brand concepts are maintained and implemented correctly across all store formats. This will be full end to end management of the design process from concept through to implementation on site.

Responsibilities;

  • Maintaining high creative standards for design and delivery of all store design and concepts
  • Manage internal and external teams to ensure all technical and architectural details are correct and to the necessary standard
  • Project manage UK projects on site. Full end to end management of design process from concept through to handover. Including budget management.
  • Lead team to ensure designs are practical and adhere to current H&S guidelines. UK standard as a minimum
  • Actively involved with all aspects of stores design, including fixtures and fittings
  • Use construction & architectural knowledge to survey potential and existing UK sites for refurbishment/refit projects.
  • Visit and assess potential new UK store locations, working on feasibility and scope of works.
  • Liaise with international partners to give design advise and support
  • Create and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external partners. Including managing external architectural teams when needed.
  • Create well planned store layouts with commerciality, excellent aesthetics and the customer at heart
  • Manage Store Designer within the team to ensure all in house designs are on brand, commercial and practical

The Individual;

You will be design focused with a construction background, degree level qualified in Architecture, 5 + years of experience within retail architecture, proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and 3D modelling. You will be a team player with a positive attitude and have a strong passion for Retail.
