We are excited to be recruiting our next Digital Designer for Monsoon. You will support the Lead Digital Designer with setting the direction for the Monsoon brand by providing best in class digital design and brand skills to deliver a clear, unique recognised brand seen by its customers as relevant, engaging and aspirational which will drive the digital performance.

What you will do as our Digital Designer?

  • Design of the weekly email programme to ensure engaging design and digital ‘best practice’ is applied to ensure engagement and revenue is optimised.
  • Provide designs for the weekly updates to both home pages and landing pages.
  • Provide designs for content pages as defined by the Web Trade team.
  • Support new season layout changes on the site
  • Work with Marketing team on delivering emails to deliver the CRM programme
  • Work with the Marketing team to deliver trigger emails to the Loyalty programme.
  • Create additional content for the digital channels as required to top up campaign and social media imagery to ensure there is enough content for digital communication.
  • Work closely with the front-end developers align activity and plans.
  • Work with the Web Trade team to ensure effective customer journeys are maintained and there is the necessary stock of product highlighted.
  • Work with the Social Media Manager to deliver creative assets to support their social strategy.
  • Ensure mobile first approach is undertaken and ensure assets are created to digital best practice ensuring performance of the website is maintained. Strong understanding of HTML and responsive design and technical execution for development.

What you will need to succeed as our Digital Designer:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a digital creative role
  • A good understanding of user centred design principles
  • A strong understanding of typography, layout and composition
  • A key eye for detail and quality
  • HTML and digital vest practice
  • Excellent MAC skills
  • Proven experience with Adobe Photoshop, Sketch, Principle, Figma or any other prototype tools
  • User first designer approach
