We are recruiting a dynamic leader to join our Technology Team on an interim basis to lead the Monsoon Accessorize Business Systems team and operate as a pivotal member of the I.T. leadership team.

The role will co-define and execute the I.T. strategy and enable the customer proposition through technology exploitation. Successfully deliver the annual suite of technology change programmes, allocating appropriate programme/project resources and driving them to create proactive, enthusiastic and delivery-oriented projects teams within a matrix reporting structure including 3rd party deliverables.   

What will you do as a Head of Enterprise Systems?

Manage and oversee the creation of and adherence to architectural principles underpinning the technology roadmap. To play a lead communication role in the event of a major systems incident.

Deliver Business Systems change as per agreed scope, timescale, cost and quality

• Deliver online availability and performance for production systems within agreed/contracted service levels.
• Transition into the live systems environment, minimising impact on the business
• Endorsement and feedback from key stakeholders brought about by delivering desired business outcomes.

• Senior stakeholders within DC/Supply Chain, Brand/Trading teams, Retail, e-Commerce, Finance and other relevant functions
• Suppliers of core Business systems


What will you need to succeed as a Head of Enterprise Systems?


• Displays an eagerness for change and continuous improvement
• Personable, diplomatic and approachable, with an enthusiastic and motivational nature and an overall passion for service excellence.
• Ability to manage an I.T. team with a broad remit of skills including project management, subject matter experts and architecture.
• Ability to communicate across all levels of the business up to Director level.
• Strong third-party management (vendor, implementation, consultancy and support)
• Analytical and inquisitive, with excellent attention to detail - operates strategically with an understanding of the 'big picture'.
• Pro-active, 'can-do' attitude, someone who welcomes a challenge and seeks a solution.
• Strong knowledge and experience of core retail business applications (Merchandising, Supply Chain/WMS and Multi-Channel Retail solutions)
• Track record of successful Project Delivery.
• Managing by objectives, appraisals, coaching and mentoring
• Able to deliver difficult internal and external messages in a composed and measured manner
• Manage, own and track the implementation and delivery of the I.T. portfolio plan
• Run project steering committees, responding appropriately to all questions and queries through a thorough understanding of stakeholder requirements and how these translate to technology priorities within the change programme
• Source internal / external people with the appropriate knowledge, skills and experience to fulfil project requirements
• Track and report timelines, budgets, scope, risk and quality during the entire life of the programme from inception to delivery, managing issues and risks as they occur
• Adapt and evolve the project / programme delivery framework to ensure it remains appropriately aligned to the demands for I.T. transformation and the I.T. delivery / sourcing model
• Re-evaluate programme priorities as the business environment evolves, recommending adjustments to the roadmap as new priorities emerge. 
• Own the I.T. capital budget. 
• Manage the priority and coordination of test releases, resources and dependencies of projects/systems across the testing environments. 
• Manage for results, ensure projects meet all quality, cost and timescale parameters and deliver outcomes aligned with business sponsors expectations
• Ensure cost approval processes are adhered to for Project Capex and Operational 3rd party Opex budgets
• Manage major incidents, assimilate large amounts of information and present it in summary form to stakeholders together with recommended

Senior/Leadership

• Work with I.T. management team to agree prioritisation and team development.
• Responsible for the management, mentoring and career development of team members.
• Represent I.T. function with senior internal stakeholders, as required.
• Create a culture of honesty, accountability and engagement within all projects in this remit ensuring everyone is treated with respect
• Manage expectations of key stakeholders throughout the life cycle of change initiatives – from inception to delivery
