Within this role you will play a pivotal role in shaping the BI and Data Analytics function, adding value to the business as a whole. Leading, managing and strategizing the Monsoon Accessorize Business Intelligence and Data Analytics team.

What will you do as a BI & Insight Manager?

• Owns and manage new insight reporting developments, assess business requirements and determine effort estimates.
• Key project resource for potential reporting implications and requirements
• In-charged with transforming the BI capability in order to realise its potential
• Enhancing the BI function by introducing new techniques and methodologies
• Develop strategies and methodologies for the analytical use of Data
• Business management with key stakeholders, alongside managing third party relationships
• Conduct user workshops and training sessions for trainers
• Work closely with Architects to improve on data quality and business' processes
• Research and keep abreast of new BI technologies.
• Procurement of new reporting sources and procedures as new projects reach fruition.
• Ensure all data requirements are catered for within system boundaries.
• Manage, maintain and migrate legacy reporting schedules and reporting to new BI tool.
• Triage of user support calls via Helpdesk and assigned to relevant BI team member
• Ensure systems are available in a timely manner as per SLA
• Own, Manage and maintain all batch processes around BI infrastructure.
• Owns the data strategy and data dictionary at enterprise level.
• Subject matter expert with underlying data structure and model used for analytics/reports.
• Maintain engagement with the user reporting community

What will you need to succeed as a BI & Insight Manager?

• Experience with predictive analysis and database design
• Team Leadership/Management. Project management and Business Analysis.
• Solid understanding of Retail KPI’s, Retail processes and terminology
• Excellent communication/negotiation skills (verbal and written) to all levels of the business
• Strong analytical mind and statistical modelling experience
• Highly numerate and experienced in an analytics, data, MI and Insight environment.
• Strong database experience such as Oracle and in-memory databases
• Hands-on with various BI/Analytic tools primarily Microstrategy
• Data evangelist, Technically adept, Logical thinker, ETL and a capable data modeller.
