We’re looking for a Creative Display Manager to promote a positive and innovative brand image through creative Window displays for Monsoon, Monsoon Children’s and Accessorize. You will bring commercial and effective new visual direction, adding Theatre to stores and aligning with the online business. Communicating with the Brand teams and working closely with the Marketing & Creative teams are all key to ensuring a cohesive visual creative across all channels and being successful in this role.
What will you do as a Creative Display Manager?
• Design concept and production of monthly window schemes for Accessorize, Monsoon and Monsoon Children, through mood boards, visual concepts and 3D prop mock ups
• Presenting 3D concept mock ups to Customer and Brand Directors
• Supporting your team in the production of Window guidelines for UK & International
• Prepare the Mock Shop to set monthly Window product dressings for Brand Directors and Divisional Directors sign off
• Provide effective documents to clearly communicate Window Display directives for UK and International markets
• Supplying detailed briefs to Display Operations for monthly windows allocations.
• Issue weekly update communications in the VM/Trade focus for the Global business
• Prioritise workload, effectively organising and implementing plans, including critical path and roadmap creation
• Proactively seek to innovate Display through new techniques/materials/concepts. Seek inspiration through as many avenues as possible with competitor shopping, museum and gallery visits etc – all budget permitting.
• Forecast for yearly and half yearly budget requirements with business case reasoning for spend. Recording and monitoring spend across all Display working closely with Display Operations team.
• Holding 121’s with immediate team to ensure tasks are completed on time and in line with the critical path.
• New store openings: working with Store Design on Window Equipment.
• Window Mannequins should be continually reviewed, and industry innovations sought.
What you will need to succeed as a Creative Display Manager?
• You will have strong experience of Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign & Sketch-up as well as a graphic design background.
• Experience in creative window displays with a strong Creative flair for developing compelling brand concepts that engage and inspire your customers, with 3-dimensional experience.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects at once.
• Management experience of at least 1 direct report
• Excellent communication & influencing skills with the ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders/Directors, across internal departments and international markets
• Experience of preparing artwork ready for print – banners, decals etc.
• Experience of working with suppliers from concept through to roll-out including strong negotiation skills is essential for working on costs
• Proven team player with strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage cross departmental relations, ensuring high service levels are provided
• Excellent project management and communication skills
