Apply to be part of our technology transformation journey as a Product Owner – Customer and be responsible for analysis, prioritisation, implementation, and management of customer-facing projects (in Ecommerce, Customer Marketing and Loyalty platforms), with an intense focus on driving delivery and BAU efficiency.

What will you do as a Product Owner – Customer (Web, CRM, loyalty)?

• A Technology role aligned to the Customer business unit (which includes Web/Ecom, CRM and Loyalty) within the IT team and reporting to the Head of Architecture, Customer and Insight Systems.
• Fully accountable for all requirements, prioritisation and outcomes for within a dev team
• Assist the management of IT budget (Capex and Opex) for the ‘Customer’ business unit
• Defines the product vision and portfolio of products, ensuring its alignment to the commercial and digital strategy
• Leads the definition, development and overall management of a product roadmap to create innovative, features and functionality that achieves the commercial needs of the product
• Manages key platform SLAs and vendor (platform and System Integration) relationships
• Ensures that ‘cross-over’ points between dev teams are known with an appropriate plan in place to ensure seamless connection across the interaction points
• Develops deep understanding of the business applications of the outputs produced by the team, aligning holistically with broader change activities such as launch, training etc
• Pro-actively identify opportunities and make recommendations for improvements
• Continuously monitor and improve business satisfaction with the quality of service delivered
• Develop and maintain an understanding of the business, technology strategies and IT roadmaps with the aim of understanding how to deliver benefit through foundational technology elements
• Become a subject matter expert on MAL Ecommerce and Salesforce platforms, and advocate of Industry Good Practice/Tech Trends and Insight within the company

What you will need to succeed as a Product Owner – Customer (Web, CRM, loyalty)?

• You must be able to demonstrate sound knowledge of Retail business operations, Retail Customer journeys and Web, Mobile, Customer facing technologies.
• Strong project management skillset gained from being involved in Web delivery and Online projects (project estimation, scope management & prioritisation, capital management)
• Strong stakeholder management experience, particularly at senior levels
• Experienced in commercial management – understands budgeting, invoicing and expenses
• Good strategic outlook, understands the commercial and digital roadmap
• Good understanding of Web and Integration technologies
• Has time to dedicate to role, at least 50% - supported by product analyst role in dev team
• Experience of working in Agile and DevOps delivery model
• Experience in Salesforce clouds such as Marketing Cloud,, Demandware and/or SAP Hybris
• Understanding of new Cloud technologies and standards; understanding of integration approaches such as APIs, Micro Services, SOA, Streams etc.
• Experience in defining Projects (and contributing to Business Case definition) to introduce the foundational technology toolset to business
• Experience or understanding of Solution Architecture and design approaches (Desirable)
• Web Development, Prince2, Salesforce or TOGAF certifications (Desirable)
