Our Buying teams are responsible for ensuring that Monsoon Accessorize continues to offer the exquisite range of unique products for which we are so well known. It's a challenging and creative area to work in. Buying is all about developing ranges, sourcing and driving product forward, negotiating cost prices, and contributing to our brands' product strategies. In order to join our buying teams you must either have a fashion related degree or related work experience.

Our design teams create the new and exciting ranges that help us to stay at the forefront of fashion. Design identifies and translates the latest catwalk trends into wearable fashion for our customer whilst staying true to the Monsoon handwriting. Our teams are involved in design development right from research through to presenting ideas to our Buying, Merchandising and Technical teams. In order to join our design teams you must either have a fashion related degree or related work experience.

Working closely with Buying, Merchandising and Design, our technical teams make sure that our products are legal, fit for purpose and that everyone is aware of any product improvements. Our Marketing teams are responsible for promoting our brands; they work closely alongside our Visual Merchandising and PR teams to ensure our branding is delivering a consistent message both on the high street and in the media. Our Retail Operations team are responsible for sending out communications to stores and field teams on a regular basis. Retail Operations is central to our success, both regionally and at head office.
Our Head Office Retail Operations team plan and produce retail documents for the branches including newsletters, bulletins and sale packs via cross departmental communication. They are also a point of contact for any queries the branches may have.
Home Delivery is a key part of our retail operations team. On a daily basis, they take orders from our customers over the phone and liaise with branches to supply the right product for them. Our Customer Services team help with all customers queries dealing with anything from a quality issue of a product through to a health & safety question. Our Website team offer assistance to our customers who have queries relating to our online shopping.
You will need excellent customer service skills and a confident telephone manner for all roles in this area. Strong written and verbal communication, problem solving and commercial awareness are also important. Retail and administration experience is desirable.

Our Finance teams are crucial to our ongoing growth and success. We offer a variety of roles including:
- International Finance - we manage all financial aspects of our overseas business.
- Financial Control - we provide timely and accurate financial information for Monsoon Accessorize (including accounts payable as well as retail accounts)
- Planning & Analysis - We provide analytical reviews, management information and business planning that is crucial to our success.
- Group Finance - We prepare the consolidated accounts, treasury and statutory accounts and tax returns to meet legal requirements.
Our Finance teams support all areas of our business with the commercial and financial expertise needed to make strategic decisions.
As the department is so diverse, we require a varied number of qualifications ranging from relevant work experience through to CIMA, ACCA and ACA qualifications. You will need an affinity for numbers, accuracy and attention to detail.

The IT department is a centralised function providing IT services to the whole of Monsoon Accessorize, ensuring smooth communications and transactions throughout the Company. The department supports, develops and manages systems for our London office, Delhi and Shanghai offices, our Distribution Centre as well supporting all of our branches. This business area has a number of key departments.
Our Delivery team monitor and support all the systems and processes, including the systems between the branches, merchandising systems and our distribution centre. This area is responsible for ancillary systems such as Accounts, HR and the PCs and servers that deliver these functions in head office.
The Business Analysis team provide all of the weekly sales reporting and reporting tools. Also, aiming to continually improve processes and procedures, this team works to define business need then select and implement change to deliver efficient solutions.
To join our IT teams you will need a thorough knowledge of IT systems and ideally experience of providing IT support within a retail environment.

Our distribution centre in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire is responsible for our stock and logistics both in the UK and internationally. The Logistics team deals with Imports and Exports by air, sea and road for all our products. With many of our branches located across the UK, our teams ensure we have robust systems in place to process huge stock movement.
They also analyse and find innovative solutions to improve efficiency and remain committed to our ethics and environmental commitments. To join our logistics and distribution teams, export experience is useful. Previous experience in warehouse operations and stock control are key to the distribution centre.

As a result of our ambitious plans for growth, this department acquires and manages all of our properties (over 1000 stores, our distribution centre, head office, and regional offices throughout the world). From small scale day to day maintenance to large scale upgrading and refurbishment projects, the team ensure we reach high professional standards.
The Facilities department is responsible for all aspects of our working environment from maintenance to catering and provides vital support services to our Head Office and staff.
As the department is so diverse, we have a variety of different roles within the team. Working within our Property team requires excellent project management skills coupled with the ability to work within budget and to time.
