Audit and loss prevention

The loss prevention team both in store and within our head office provides support for all control, risk and loss management, supported by our audit investigation department who investigate trends across the business relating to cash or stock queries.

Finance

Our finance team is crucial to our ongoing growth and success. Our finance teams support all areas of the company with the commercial and financial expertise needed to make strategic decisions.

The business covers: international finance for our fast-growing overseas network of 58 countries, financial control including accounts payable and retail accounts, planning and analysis and group finance, including treasury and tax.  We also deal with project work such as corporate reorganisation, business risk assessment and systems design.

Human resources

We aim to ensure that every employee throughout the company feels valued, encouraged, rewarded and inspired, in line with Monsoon Accessorize’s values.  We operate a business-partner model dedicated to developing and maintaining employee relations policies and practices, supported by centres of excellence in learning and development, reward and resourcing and underpinned by a shared services team.

IT

The IT department is a centralised function providing IT services to the whole of Monsoon Accessorize to ensure smooth communications and transactions throughout the company. The department supports, develops and manages systems for our London office, Delhi and Shanghai offices, our distribution centre as well supporting all of our branches. This business area has a number of key departments.

Supporting new functions and projects, we offer head office, in-store and mobile support as well as managing suppliers. At all times, our passion to deliver the best and our expertise in the retail area ensure that we prioritise our workload and balance the cost against the benefits of our work.

Property and facilities

As a result of our ambitious plans for growth, this department acquires and manages all of our store properties  as well as our distribution centre, head office, and regional offices. From small scale day-to-day maintenance to large scale upgrading and refurbishment projects, the property team ensures we reach the highest professional standards.

The facilities department is responsible for all aspects of our working environment from maintenance to catering, and provides vital support services to our head office and staff.
