I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the people at Monsoon Accessorize - you hear a lot about the fashion business but far from the world of Ugly Betty, these guys are extremely friendly and make you feel at home from day one. There is a great team spirit around the business and lots of energy and desire to develop and take the business to new levels
Having been in property for 10 years and have previously worked globally as well as in the UK, I was delighted to be approached about working with Monsoon Accessorize. I’m so pleased I decided to join: being part of the RIBA award winning Yellow building, our purpose-built new head office, has been a fantastic challenge. There is no better feeling than being an element of building projects and seeing your hard work being constructed in front of you. It makes up for spending time dealing with blocked drains!
There is a real can do attitude from all departments to make things happen, people are empowered to make decisions. My wife loves everything about me working here, especially the staff discount. Our designers both on Monsoon and Accessorize are so creative and this shows in our fantastic products.
It’s inspiring how passionate the founder Peter Simon is about his business and how involved he is in the key management decisions. I was also very surprised to learn about our global reach and how many stores across the world we operate.
