Monsoon Accessorize Graduate Programme

The Monsoon Accessorize Graduate Programme is designed to provide you with real on-the-job training which will stretch, challenge and set you up to succeed within our business.  The programme is designed to give you a huge amount of exposure in the company; you will be working closely with our Directors and their teams on high profile projects within growth business areas. 

What's involved?

Monsoon Accessorize will be running two Graduate Programmes in parallel; our General Manager Programme will focus on the operational side of the business and our Product Manager Programme will focus on our brand areas.  Each programme will run for two years starting September 2013.  During this time you will have several rotations within various departments working as a core member of the team.  You will also undertake relevant technical and leadership training and have access to a senior mentor.

 
General Manager Programme
On the General Manager programme you will start off with six months working in retail in order to understand the core of our business and what it takes to run a successful multi-million pound turnover store.  You will then spend 18 months working in Head Office and rotate around our Supply Chain, Web and International departments.  You will also spend time working on business critical projects and with the ‘Monsoon Accessorize Trust’.  You will be assessed throughout the programme on both behavioural and performance objectives.  Towards the end of the programme you will be asked to prepare a business proposal for a department of your choice which will be presented in front of our founder and Chief Executive. 
 
Product Manager Programme
On the Product Manager programme you will start off with six months working in retail in order to understand the core of our business and what it takes to run a successful multi-million pound turnover store.  You will then spend 18 months working in Head Office within one of our brands and rotate around our Design, Buying and Merchandising departments.  You will also spend time working on business critical projects and with the ‘Monsoon Accessorize Trust’.  You will be assessed throughout the programme on both behavioural and performance objectives.  Towards the end of the programme you will be asked to prepare a business proposal for a department of your choice which will be presented in front of our founder and Chief Executive. 


Where will I be based?

During the first 6 months you will be located at a nationwide flagship store.  You will then need to be based in London where you will spend the next 18 months of the programme at our West London Head Office.


What do I need to apply?

If you want to join one of the Monsoon Accessorize Graduate Programmes you will need a 2:1 degree in any discipline and must have graduated within the last 2 years.  You will also need to be passionate about a career with Monsoon Accessorize, be bold, commercially aware and have a huge amount of drive and ambition. 


Application process

The assessment process for the Graduate Programme will take place between 29th July 2013 – 23rd August 2013, and we ask that you make yourself available during this time.

  • Telephone Interview
  • Verbal and Numerical Testing 
  • Assessment Centre
