We are now looking for a an AWS / Integrations DevOps Engineer to support the design, implementation, and management of cloud-native infrastructure and integration pipelines across our enterprise platforms. The role focuses on maintaining highly available, secure, and scalable AWS environments, while also enabling seamless system integrations between internal applications and external partners. This position will serve as the bridge between development, operations, and integration teams — ensuring automated deployments, robust monitoring, and efficient API/data exchange processes that support business objectives.
What you will do as our DevOps Engineer?
- Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and maintain AWS environments ensuring scalability, resilience, and security.
- Legacy systems: provide backup support for legacy FT and ETL processes (MoveIT & Talend)
- CI/CD & Automation: Build and maintain automated pipelines for application and integration deployments.
- Integrations Enablement: Support and optimize system-to-system integrations via APIs, event-driven frameworks, and middleware solutions.
- Monitoring & Observability: Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting for proactive issue detection and root-cause analysis.
- Cost & Resource Optimization: Continuously review AWS spend, optimize usage, and implement cost-saving measures.
- Security & Compliance: Apply best practices in identity and access management, encryption, and regulatory compliance.
- Incident Management: Respond to and resolve cloud/integration incidents, driving postmortems and preventive measures.
- Collaboration: Work with developers, architects, and product teams to align infrastructure and integration approaches with business needs.
- Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Maintain infrastructure diagrams, runbooks, and technical documentation to support knowledge transfer.
- Continuous Improvement: Research and implement new tools, frameworks, and practices to enhance operational efficiency.
Leadership
- Positively represent the technology function alongside internal and external stakeholders as required
- Create a culture of honesty, accountability and engagement within the function ensuring everyone is treated with respect
- Championing and coaching the wider IT team in Cloud and ETL technologies
- Effectively manage expectations of Sr Manager – Data, Integrations & Apps and key stakeholders throughout the design and implementation of the cloud infrastructure
What you will need to succeed as our DevOps Engineer?
- 2+ years in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related role.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS core services (EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, IAM, API Gateway, CloudFormation/Terraform).
- Proven experience in CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent).
- Familiarity with integration technologies (REST APIs, GraphQL, messaging queues like SQS/Kafka, iPaaS platforms).
- Monitoring and logging expertise (CloudWatch, ELK stack, Prometheus/Grafana, Datadog, etc.).
- Knowledge of security best practices (IAM policies, secrets management, network segmentation).
- Scripting/automation experience with Python, Bash, or similar.
