Monsoon is a brand that is drenched in colour, craft and community. Our story began with one man and his vision; to bring vibrant, colourful, hand-crafted artisan clothes from faraway places to the markets of London. It is a journey that started on a hippy commune in Ibiza, 1970, and finished with an overland trip east, through Afghanistan and India. Now found in West London, we’re creating vibrant products, and sharing endless discovery.
We are now looking for a Creative Designer to join the team. We are looking for a conceptual creative mid-wight designer to take ownership of creative projects, contributing to strategy, and executing designs from concept to completion across print, digital, and brand touchpoints for the Monsoon brand skills to deliver a clear, unique recognised brand seen by its customers as relevant, engaging and aspirational which will drive the digital performance.
What will do you do as a Creative Designer?
- Working closely with the Creative Team to drive delivery of high quality digital and printed assets. Including website, email, social design.
- Design/produce print include seasonal store POS, packaging, marketing material.
- To prepare and format artwork for delivery to various suppliers for in-store application and print collateral.
- To manage, prioritise and schedule a varied work load.
- Be responsible for the creation and delivery of briefed projects
- Maintain brand consistency throughout your work
- Support other designers in artwork delivery for print and digital briefs
- Following the correct design processes and creating high quality deliverables for projects.
- Build strong relationships with other departments through regular and clear communication and a collaborative approach to work.
What will you need to succeed as a Creative Designer?
- Minimum 3-5 years in an agency or in-house environment with experience from conception to finished design.
- Background in print and digital design with a keen eye for typography, strong layout skills and the ability to maintain a consistent graphic look and feel across all channels
- Proficient in your Creative suite (CS5/6) and Figma
- A passion for original ideas
- Great communicator and decision maker
- Someone who is able to articulate a vision and take the team on the journey as well as inspiring internal support as required to meet shared goals
- Excellent influencing and relationship management experience
- A strong portfolio showcasing conceptual ideas and brand work
