With the product & brand becoming more closely aligned the shape of the marketing is going to significantly change. Working closely with the Marketing Director we want to build a team with social at its core. The Copy and Content Marketing Executive role is an amazing opportunity to play a pivotal role in changing the way that our brand expresses itself in social and beyond. 

You will act as guardian of comms, leading the content planning processes, building compelling content ideas and supporting teams in delivering this seamlessly. We’re looking for a highly organized individual who enjoys taking ownership of projects and initiatives. The position will offer the opportunity to put a creative spin on all content and copy across all channels, from emails to in-store collateral. This role will suit someone with a demonstrated ability to think creatively. Working closely within the wider Marketing team, you will ensure all copy meets brand guidelines, while inspiring and exciting our customer. The ideal candidate will thrive off organization, have a genuine passion for the industry and clearly demonstrate enthusiasm for their work.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Brand guardian across all main touchpoints including social media, website, email, paid marketing, PR and in-store collateral.
  • Working cross-functionally to ensure content consistency across channels. You will be the go-to-person connecting the dots to make sure teams are supported. This will cover everything from promotional activities to campaign messaging. You will own the monthly content marketing planning process and ensure this is always clear and up to date.
  • Writing on-brand, customer-first copy to support key launches and product. stories, working with the creative team to ideate against seasonal campaigns and moments that matter throughout the season.
  • Working with the Creative Lead and Marketing Director to continually evolve TOV guidelines.
  • Working with ecommerce and Visual Merchandising teams to ensure copy provides the best customer journey.
  • Crafting narrative and copy journey for seasonal campaigns ensuring this is distributed where necessary.
  • Staying ahead of trends to create relevant, engaging fashion content for the brand and updating this through all channels including the content planning deck and the Accessorize blog.
  • Using SEO best practice to support our ecommerce and paid  marketing teams where needed on metadata, google ads and category descriptions.

Person Specification:

Essential:

  • At least 3 years’ experience working in a content/copy role, ideally within the fashion or lifestyle space.
  • Someone who’s able to self-manage and knows how to prioritize efficiently.
  • A multi-tasker with impeccable organization and time management skills.
  • Keen awareness of trends and popular culture with the ability to leverage these insights effectively.
  • An understanding the fundamentals of SEO and how the two work together.
  • Strong and proven copywriting skills.
  • An eye for detail, editorial ability and understanding of the industry is important.
  • Show’s genuine passion for what they do.
  • Proficiency in meeting deadlines.

Desirable:

  • Dynamic creative thinker.
  • Previous exposure to working with accessories or jewellery retail either in house or within an agency.
